Its the time of the year where Christmas is just over and we will be facing a whole new year in a few days time. 2010 has been good to me. Fulfilling, enriching, disappointing….the list goes on.
Couple of highlights along the way. Arsenal failed to lift the trophy – again. I cant say this is disappointment coz I expected it. Lets just hope there wont be anything of sort like the Red Sox’s Curse of the Bambino. Supporting your team is forever. They wont let you down. Come every August, they’re here. Be it early or late kick off, there is a game. And even if it gets snows out, guess what? They will make it up to you.
Does anyone else in your life do that?
Alright, Im exaggerating. But I’m sure you get my idea.
What is disappointment, you may ask.
Watching my team trashed Spurs 2-0 up at half time and lost 3-2 at full time. Thats disappointment.
Thinking you have met that special someone but turns out he’s not ready to commit in a relationship. Thats disappointment.
I’m pretty sure we deal with shit every now and then throughout the year. They are out everywhere. Its just a matter of how we deal with all these issues. I hid in my room, cried myself out. Its helps me to feel better but it ain’t going to solve the problem. God bless my family & friends who are always there for me. You know sometimes when you are hurt…..really hurt, something in you just shuts off. And thats when you gonna tell youself you have to come to terms with it, accept it and get your butt moving on.
Movies wise, my favourite has to be ‘Up in the Air’. Strange enough, I actually went to watch this movie with someone whom I thought exactly has mind set like Ryan Bingham. A man who never seems to want to settle down. To have a n0 string attached kind of relationship? Thank you very much but no way am I able to bring myself doing it. U can say I’m traditional but this is something simply out of my league.
And the worst has to be ‘ The Men who stare at Goats’. Simply can’t imagine George Clooney was in it. Simply rubbish.
Did quite a bit of travelling this year. Needless to say, Fenway Park has to be the highlight. Niagara Falls falls right behind but seriously, I enjoyed every single bit when I’m out travelling. Hopefully there’s more to come in the brand new year.
If anyone were to ask me to rank my priorities in life, it has got to be Arsenal, sex and sleep – in that order.
For god sake, I am just kidding.
